I'm looking over the latest list of the 100 most influential people in TIME magazine, and of course John Kerry is nowhere on the list. I have nothing against Barak Obama, he is a bright spot in the democratic party, but it was John Kerry who got the second most votes for president ever, who got more young people to vote than ever before, who is more powerful than he ever was in the senate, and will likely be a strong candidate for 2008, should he decided to run.
As the time progresses, much of what he speculated about turned out to be true. I still have no idea why the "Mainstream Media." hates John Kerry. Every time I see Chris Matthews diss him it makes me wonder if anyone cares that Bush won his election by appealing to the fears and worst of America, while John Kerry ran his campaign on the hope of a better day. Sure he was naiive, but at least he was honest. It's not even just that John Kerry was not on the list, but it seems like they are saying what JK's supporters did in 2004 didn't matter. I really hope he decides to run in 2008.
Fuck You TIME magazine, "the voice of America's elite," I've seen the future, and John Kerry is big part of it, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.
